Election Day Views

Dear subscriber,

Because it’s election day, any technical analysis that I do would not have value until we have a better understanding of the outcome of this election. One factor involved is whether or not there is a decisive winner, and whether the election is contested.

The possible outcomes of a Harris or Trump win will be discussed in detail on an interview I participated in for Kitco media this morning. The video will discuss each possible scenario in detail. The video board will be released and published within the next couple of hours, and put on our website when the interview is released.

We will return tomorrow and Friday as information comes in so that we can begin to analyze potential moves in gold once that information becomes available. The Kitco media interview will discuss potential outcomes and also look at how gold reacted during presidential elections from 1980 to 2020.

Obviously, the election results are much too tight to call. Which is why I believe watching the interview is the best way to understand my sentiment as it stands pre-election results.
