After reaching a new record close on Tuesday, gold futures are on the path to yet another record price on Wednesday in overseas markets. This would be the19th new record close since September 2nd.

The current rally in the precious metals which had been parabolic already just turned it up another notch.

Gold futures had impressive gains today last seen up $44.40 or 1,11% back above $4,000 at $4,035.50. The gains are impressive not simply by their magnitude but because almost all other markets traded dramatically lower.
